Pregnancy & Birth Preparation
Ali has been practising yoga since childhood, and has found all practices helpful for the balancing and integration of mind, emotions and body. Ali discovered that yoga was highly beneficial during both her pregnancies.
The relaxation, grounding and confidence she gained in her body served her well during her births, during breast feeding and in her parenting.
She is especially passionate about birth and pregnancy: she has worked as a Midwife since 1992 and qualified as a yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance in 2011. She practiced with Chris Fielder and Dominique Sakoilsky in Bristol and Janet Balaskas in London.
Ali also has an interest in mental wellbeing, and has undertaken extended training with the Satyananda Yoga for Mental Health module, as well as courses with the Minded Institute in Yoga for Addictions and Yoga for Mental Health.
Her classes aim to share the blessings and teachings that she has received with others.
