Join Mel for a Friday night Restorative Evening and leave the stresses and strain of your week behind.

Restorative yoga is designed to engage the parasympathetic nervous system to help us feel calm and relaxed through the gentle, passive stretching and releasing of physical tensions. We will open the chest, hips, and shoulders, as well as gently stretching the muscles of the back and the hamstrings, perfect for those of you hunched at a desk all week, or achy from running, cycling and other sports.

There will also be a yoga nidra practice, a form of effortless meditation which guides us into the delta brainwave, the brainwave of deep sleep, resulting in a deep relaxation like nothing else. Research has shown that Yoga Nidra effectively reduces, insomnia, chronic pain, chemical dependency, P.T.S.D, depression and anxiety, as well as being a tool of self-inquiry in which we can better understand ourselves.

With snacks to sustain you until dinner time, and spaces limited to 18, step out of doing mode and let yourself simply be. This is the perfect way to wind down, relax, and start your weekend feeling refreshed and re-energised.
