Restorative Yoga for prenatal and postnatal women in Bristol.
Restorative is suitable for both pregnant women after their first trimester, and post natal women.
This practice is kind on the body, letting you restore, relax and mentally slow down. With the use of props (bolsters, blankets and blocks) the teacher will guide you into poses that create a sense of peace and stillness.
The movements are slow and focused, which allows an awareness of the body and where the mind can let go.

Wait until after your first trimester before attending Restorative Yoga
Once you’ve had your baby, allow time for healing and recuperation before coming to Restorative Yoga classes. We recommend waiting 6 weeks after a vaginal birth, and 12 weeks after a Cesarean.
