Kat’s teaching comes straight from her heart and personal practice. She was looking to deepen her spiritual practice when she enrolled on the teacher training at Bristol City Yoga and discovered a great passion for teaching and sharing the many benefits of yoga.
Kat maintains the focus on core integration and alignment, stemming from her desire to use yoga as a tool to heal and strengthen the body on both the mental and physical plane and many more.
In Kat’s classes expect to breathe, laugh and use your body to your maximum capacity when practicing asana.
Kat’s Hatha Flow classes incorporate a dynamic flow of physical postures with breath awareness, before slowing down with more static postures, meditation and relaxation. Classes are suitable for new students to yoga as well as those with more experience. Kat will offer modifications and adjustments where needed so that each student can experience the postures and can participate at their own ability. She encourages students to practice with awareness and within the range of movement available to them, providing a safe, relaxing and inclusive environment.
