Emma has been a keen practitioner of yoga for the past ten years. She completed her basic and intermediate teacher trainings in New York City with the Integral Yoga Institute.
Since relocating to London in 2008, she completed her Yoga for Pregnancy, Post-natal and Well-Woman Yoga Therapy teacher training with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, and Yoga for M.E and CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) training with Fiona Agombar. Emma is an experienced Pregnancy Yoga teacher and is able to support Pregnant and prenatal students in her classes.
Emma has also worked with Donna Farhi, Max Strom and Tias Little to influence her personal yoga practice and her teaching.
Emma’s approach is rooted in the style of Hatha yoga combining physical poses (asana), breathing practice (pranayama), deep relaxation (yoga nidra) and meditation. Her aim is to allow the holistic practice of yoga to heal and invigorate the entire body on a cellular level, to encourage full and efficient breath work, and to centre the mind.
